Overview

About Tawaen Beach

Tawaen Beach (หาดตาแหวน) is one of Ko Lan’s main visitor beaches and the location of Tawaen Beach Pier. Government tourism information describes a sandy shore with beach chairs, restaurants and souvenir shops. The beach pin is separate from the Tawaen viewpoint farther south, so specify whether you need the shoreline, pier or hill-side lookout when arranging local transport. Check the current boat destination and return departure directly before travelling; not every island arrival uses the same pier. Ask individual beach businesses about chairs, food, equipment, toilets or changing arrangements and their charges. Follow current sea-condition notices and the instructions for any activity you choose. The beach’s visiting pattern and each operator’s trading hours are separate, so confirm the service you need on the day.
