What has changed
A newly announced beachfront festival gives Hua Hin visitors another December date to plan around. Hua Hin Beach Life 2026 is scheduled for 18–20 December at Hua Don Beach in Khao Takiab, with free entry.
The dates and venue appear in a Thai government tourism update published on 21 October. The event forms part of the Tourism Authority of Thailand's Amazing Multi-Racing Festival 2026, combining coastal sport with music, food and other beach activities.
What is planned in Hua Hin
Hua Hin Today reports that the local programme includes stand-up paddleboarding competitions and a SUP clinic, alongside concerts. The announced performers include BOWKYLION, LANDOKMAI, INDIGO, URBOYTJ, WHAL & DOLPH and THE PARKINSON.
A local food area, fashion stalls and beach products are also planned. The published announcement sets out the attractions, but visitors should check the organiser's programme for artist dates, performance times and activity arrangements before making a booking around a particular feature.
Free entry and activity details
Free admission is confirmed in the government listing. That does not by itself establish whether a competition or clinic needs separate registration, whether equipment is provided, or whether particular activities have participant limits. Check those details with the organiser before arriving specifically to paddleboard.
Hua Hin is the last of three destinations in the series. Songkhla's edition is scheduled for 23–25 October, followed by Phuket from 30 October to 1 November. Those are separate events; the Hua Hin dates are in December.
For travel planning, use the Hua Don Beach venue in Khao Takiab rather than assuming the event will occupy the central town beach. Recheck the final programme closer to departure, particularly if your plans depend on a specific concert or sporting activity.
